How it works

A network that belongs to its members.

HyperCluster is a DePIN, short for “decentralized physical infrastructure network”: instead of one company’s data centre, the computers that store files and run AI belong to members, at home. They earn HYPEC for the work they do.

Three parts

Machines

Quipu machines and members’ PCs. They store files for HyperCloud, look at photos for HyperAI, and train and run members’ AI.

Our own blockchain

Chain 838838 keeps a public record of payments and of the work each machine did. Full Nodes keep a full copy of it. Anyone can look on the explorer.

HYPEC

The coin everything is paid in: products, rewards for inviting friends, and machines’ earnings.

Useful work, checked

Machines earn for useful work only: a photo looked at for a member, a training job run, a file kept safe. Being switched on earns nothing.

The work is checked. Machines are given test pictures whose answers are known, the same job is sometimes given to two machines to compare, and a machine keeping files is asked, at random moments, to prove it still has them. A machine that fails is switched off.

Every day, each machine’s checked work is counted and written to the blockchain with its proof. That is what its owner earns from. In crypto this is called proof of work. On most blockchains that work is solving puzzles; here it is real work people asked for.

Second opinionsSome jobs are done twice and compared
File checksProve a random piece of a file is still there

Your privacy

Files are encryptedHyperCloud files are encrypted before they are stored. The members’ machines that keep them can’t read them.
Where photos goA picture your app sends to HyperAI’s AI chips is read on machines HyperCluster runs, and not kept. A photo you run through your own trained AI goes to a member’s graphics card, with your AI.
